The Investiture Ceremony of Sanskar School for the academic session 2024-25, was held on Wednesday,July 24, with a high degree of passion, earnestness and fervour. The event commenced with offering of prayer to the Almighty. The troop of the newly elected student council came marching towards the ceremonial venue. The newly invested council members received their badges from the Chairperson, Mrs. Rhea Tharyamal, Principals, Mrs Girdhar Kumari and Mrs Neelam Bhardwaj and Teachers. Thereafter, the school flag was handed over to the Head Boy, Harit Sengupta and Head Girl, Vaidehi Singh and house flags were handed over to the concerned heads. The Principal, Mrs Girdhar Kumari administered the oath to the newly elected Students’ Council emphasising on the virtue of their responsibilities that come along with the badges. The Head Girl Vaidehi Singh and Head Boy Harit Sengupta, shared their vision of being a true leader. The Principal, Mrs Neelam Bhardwaj reminded them of the responsibilities that the badges have brought on their young shoulders. Heading towards the culmination ceremony, the Cultural Head Girl, Naitra Sambharia, proposed the vote of thanks with her reflection on this memorable occasion. The event concluded with the school song.

“Colours are the smiles of the nature”, so is the colour Orange. Orange is fun, dynamic and radiates warmth and joy. To reinforce the colour concept of Orange to our tiny tots of Early Years, Sanskar School celebrated ‘Orange Colour Day’ on 9th July, 2024. It was a great learning activity which helped the children understand the concept of secondary colours. The teachers and children both were dressed in harmonious shades of orange. They also enjoyed tear and pasting activity, cut and paste activity, origami activity to make a carrot, pumpkin, orange etc.

Under the theme How We Organise Ourselves
Grade 2 learners visited Police station and Mart as they are learning about public places. Learners were impressed by the officers' dedication and hard work to keep our community safe.They learned that being a police officer is not just about enforcing laws, but also about helping people and building relationships.They enjoyed watching weapons shown by police officers. I appreciate the way they asked questions and learnt about the challenges that officers face. They realized that police work is not just about chasing criminals, but also about preventing crimes and supporting the community. They enjoyed talking to police 👮🏻‍♀️ officers 👮🏻‍♂️. They also visited a mart, they were surprised by the vast variety of products and brands available. It was overwhelming but fascinating! Learners were impressed by the efficient layout and organization of the store. It makes shopping easy and enjoyable! They learnt that how so many things can be organised so nicely.

The capacity building workshop on life skills development for teachers was organised on 13th July,2024 at Sanskar School by the eminent resource persons Ms. Kavya Prema and Ms. Reena Kapoor. The primary objective of the workshop was to equip educators with the necessary tools and strategies to integrate life skills into their teaching practices effectively. Teachers embarked on a transformative journey, exploring the depths of life skills crucial for shaping resilient and adaptable learners. Exploring a diverse palette of teaching methodologies, educators crafted new hues of engagement, infusing lessons with the vibrant colors of critical thinking and emotional intelligence and harmonizing theory with practice to cultivate essential life skills among students. The session served as a catalyst for promoting holistic education and empowering facilitators with essential life skills necessary for future success.

Sanskar School hosted the “Mosaic- Inter School Art Competition ”, on 27th May 2024, to celebrate the Spirit of Creativity by rejuvenating the artistic skills amongst the students from more than twenty distinguished schools of the city. The fest provided scope for delegates with varied interest to participate in three different categories: Henry Matisse Style of Art Competition, Thikri/Lippan Art Competition , and Canvas Art Competition .
The joyous occasion was graced by the benign presence of some of the renowned artists. Our Principals, Ms. Neelam Bharadwaj and Ms. Girdhar Kumari along with the esteemed judges, Mr. Durgesh Kumar Atal, Mr. Sant Kumar, Mr. Laishram Surjit Singh, Mr. Vikas Soni, Mrs. Laishram Monika Devi and Ms. Monika Sharda felicitated the students for their dedicated efforts and achievements. It was a fruitful and enjoyable experience.

A Health Quiz was conducted in the premises of Sanskar School on the 20th of April, 2024 for the students of classes 6th to 8th. It was organized with an aim of promoting health consciousness amongst the students. The students participated enthusiastically in the quiz.
The topic for the quiz was “Healthy Eating for kids “. The quiz was followed by an interactive session with the audience. The First place was secured by Team-D which comprised of the following particiapnts - i) Anshika Srivastava ii) Chaitanya Yadav iii) Sanvi Pachar and iv) Tanush Jangir and the Runner up was Team – A- i) Anshuman S. Chauhan ii) Chetan Rinwa iii) Anisha Gupta and  iv) Ishita Singh Both the teams were awarded with the gift hampers and certificates.

The Fashion Boot Camp by IIAD was organised on 8th April 2024, for the students of Sanskar School Grade 11th and 12th to propel them into the world of fashion with confidence and boost their industry knowledge, by providing a comprehensive set of skills and experiences tailored to the dynamic needs of the fashion industry

Sanskar School Auditorium on 5th April,2024, was abuzz with excitement as it hosted a dynamic University Fair, presenting a wide range of higher education options to students from grades 10 to 12. This event aimed to provide students with a thorough understanding of their future educational prospects and facilitate direct interactions with representatives from various universities and colleges. The fair empowered students in grades 10 to 12 with the knowledge and resources necessary to make informed decisions about their higher education. We hope that this event will serve as inspiration and guidance as they embark on their journey towards successful academic and career pursuits. We express our gratitude to the universities that participated in the event:

Sanskar school corridors once again reverberated with the sounds of numerous feet rushing towards the classrooms to begin afresh the new school session on 3rd,April, 2024. The young eager faces of the children reflected positivity and hope for new beginnings, extended opportunities and prospective growth.
The students were given a warm welcome in the school assembly by the Principals, Ms Neelam Bhardwaj and Ms Girdhar Kumari, who spoke to them about the importance of new endeavours , new resolutions and the responsibilities they need to undertake as Sanskarians. Thereafter the children exuberantly delve on to the incalculable experience of observing their new classrooms, meeting their peers and teachers and could be seen taking great interest in turning the crisp pages of their new books and notebooks and unfold the beauty of the new beginnings. The day progressed smoothly encapturing various special moments for the students on their ‘Day 1 at school’..

Graduation Ceremony

Sanskar School bid adieu to its outgoing batch of class XII on 3rd February 2024 in the school auditorium. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the the Chairperson, Ms. Rhea Tharyamal, the Directors Ms. Disha Tharyamal and Mr. Shiven Tharyamal alongwith the School Principals, Ms. Neelam Bhardwaj and Ms. Girdhar Kumari.
This was followed by an inspiring address by the Principal, Ms. Neelam Bhardwaj. In her advice to the students, the Principal pointed out that as they venture out into the vast and unknown experiences of college life, they should learn to handle their freedom with wisdom and always know they can rely on their Alma Mater. She also thanked the parents for their unwavering support and cooperation through the years. Thereafter, citations were read out for the students while a candle was lit in front of them by their teachers. The students then placed these candles on an outline map of India adorned with flowers in the centre of the auditorium. It was a proud moment for the teachers and parents who witnessed the students donned in their Graduation caps and gowns being felicitated.
The event proceeded with the Principal, Ms. Girdhar Kumari, administering the pledge to the students. They were then addressed by the Chief Guest for the event, Ms. Rhea Tharyamal who wished them success for all their future endeavours. After the address, the audience heard one of the parents Dr. Tarun Sharda speak about his association with Sanskar School over the years. Thereafter the School Head Boy Krish Narang and School Head Girl Bhavya Gaur replayed their memories through the years at Sanskar School in a speech that truly moved the audience. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a High Tea for parents and students.

Republic Day Celebration at Sanskar School

India’s 75th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp and dazzle at Sanskar School on 26th January 2024. The programme commenced with a melodious song sung by the school choir. Thereafter, the Chairperson,Ms. Rhea Tharymal and the Principals, Ms. Neelam Bhardwaj and Ms. Girdhar Kumari unfurled the National Flag in a moment of pride for everyone present on the occasion.
The school Vice Head Boy, and Student Editorial Team member, Tanishka Purohit, moved the audience with their expressive thoughts in the form of a short speech and a self-composed poem, respectively. The youngest member of the school Zainab Khan with her patriotic song made hearts swell with pride and emotion. Students delivered fiery speeches, cultural extravaganza which made every one sway and danced their hearts out. To add to the patriotic fervour, the Principal encouraged the children, through her inspiring words, to inculcate a spirit of pride in being an Indian and be responsible citizens of India. The programme culminated with a vote of thanks delivered by the Head Boy, Krish Narang.

Christmas Day Celebration

Red Colour Day

What a delightful celebration of "Red Colour Day" at Sanskar School's Early Years! The connection between colours and the smiles of nature beautifully sets the tone for the event, and the focus on red as a symbol of love and compassion adds a heart-warming touch. It's heartening to hear that the children actively participated by bringing their favorite red-colored items from home. This not only encourages creativity but also fosters a sense of involvement and connection to the celebration. The activities involving cut and paste techniques for Santa Claus caps and using tear and paste technique for an apple and strawberry must have been both educational and entertaining.

Purple Colour Day

Colours always fascinate us. It enlivens our environment and is an integral part of our life. Purple colour represents the future, the imagination and dreams, spiritually calming the emotions. To bring awareness and how colours add beauty to things around us, Purple Day was celebrated in Early Years on January 23, 2024, at Sanskar School. The activity (making the flower Purple Passion, Concord grapes by using thumb printing technique and Hippopotamus by using cut and paste method) was thoroughly enjoyed by our little ones.
Tiny toddlers were beautifully dressed in Purple. It was a special and colourful day for our little ones. They also brought many purple-coloured objects-toys, fruits, vegetables etc. Children took part with great enthusiasm in art and craft activities related to purple colour.

Annual Prize Distribution

The Annual Prize Distribution celebration was held at Sanskar School on 20th December 2023 in memory of (Late) Shri Kanni Thahryamal who chartered a way ahead in the field of world class education through his vision. The students were awarded certificates and trophies for proficiency in the academic year 2022-23 and for their commendable performance in numerous Inter-House Competitions in the current academic session 2023-24.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Sudhir Mathur, the Chairperson, Ms. Rhea Tharyamal, the Principals, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj and Mrs. Girdhar Kumari gave away the prizes to the meritorious students. The Principal, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj addressed the awardees and motivated them to continue to strive for excellence and remain lifelong learners.
In both Primary and Senior School, Rig House was declared the ‘Best House’ and had the privilege of receiving the Kanni Thahryamal Trophy. Bhavya Yadav (V) was bestowed with Lachman Bhatia Trophy for the ‘Best Pupil of the Year 2023’ in the Primary school while Krish Narang (XII) was declared the ‘Best Pupil of 2023’ among the seniors and awarded the Dr. Daisaku Ikeda Trophy.
Some special awards like Language Artistry Award, Canvas Prodigy Award, Tech Team Award, Sanskar Shark Tank Award, Award for contribution in Phad se Padh Project, Student Initiative Award, Exemplary Conduct and Leadership Award, Athlete of the Year Award were also given to the deserving students.
Thereafter, Grade 10 and 12 Board Toppers for the session 2022-23 were felicitated. This included Tavisha Nindawat (Humanities) and Khushi Malhotra (Science) who topped SSCE 2022-23, Apeksha Verma and Swastik Soni of SSE 2022-23, Ishika Yadav and Rudra Chouhan of IGCSE Year 2, 2022-23 and Akshita Swaroop of IBDP Year 2, 2022-23.
Two more trophies were bestowed by the honourable Chief Guest, Mr Sudhir Mathur, to the worthy candidates. The first trophy for ‘Raghu Sinha Stellar Award’ was presented to Apeksha Verma, School Topper of Class X CBSE Board Examination 2022-23. The second trophy for ‘Mala Mathur Versatile Award’, for a student displaying proficiency in academics and co-curricular activities, was given to Bhavya Gaur (XII). Mr. Sudhir Mathur congratulated the winners and motivated them to keep giving their best in their future endeavours.
The event was concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Manisha Chandra where she showed her gratitude towards the School Management for providing various opportunities to the students to showcase their talents.

Annual Sports Meet 2023 celebrated at Sanskar School

Sanskar School celebrated its 5th Annual Sports Meet, 2023 at the Sanskar Cricket Ground on 3rd December with great pomp and enthusiasm. Our Chairperson, Mrs. Rhea Thahryamal graciously agreed to preside over the event as the Chief Guest and Ms. Divyakriti Singh who won a Gold medal in Equestrian at the recently concluded Asian Games 2022 was the Guest of Honour.
The event commenced with an Orchestra performance involving around 200 students playing various musical instruments followed by the symbolic opening of the Sports day signified by Lighting of the Torch ceremony by the young achievers of Sanskar School who have achieved laurels at the International and National level. Ms Rhea Thahryamal then declared the Sports Meet open.
The declaration was followed by a welcome address by the Principal, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj and the Guest of Honour Ms. Divyakriti Singh, wherein they encouraged the children to do their best and motivated them to strive hard to attain excellence in life.
The Principal, Mrs. Girdhar Kumari, declared the names of the Sports Boy of the Year, Prince Kumar and Sports Girl of the year, Payal Kanwar amidst loud cheering from the audience.
Thereafter the meet continued with a stunning March Past by the students led by the school council members of each house and the the students of the National Cadet Corps. This was followed by a Yoga presentation, a Western Dance with the theme of Athletics and Patriotism, a Folk Fusion Gedi dance from Chattisgarh followed by a superb Martial Arts display.The Sports Meet culminated with a grand finale by all the dance performers in a colourful and stunning display.
The performances were interspersed with the Athletic events for students from classes 6-12 which included 100 m, 200 m and relay races. The participants were encouraged by their peers enthusiastically and the sports field resounded with students cheering for their Houses which made the event a grand success.

“Festivals are the embellishments that make life colorful.”

Diwali is the most awaited and brightest festivals of all with its presence across the world. To enable the students to understand the importance of Diwali and the reason behind this festival of lights, Sanskar School organised different activities. The day started with a calming morning prayer to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Various craft activities were conducted where the little Sanskarians showcased their creativity. The children handcrafted elegant paper lanterns, Bandarwal ,Decorative Colorful Diyas and Diwali cards to brighten up the festive atmosphere. The learners enthusiastically made the decorative material which filled the whole atmosphere with positivity.

Procter and Gamble, in collaboration with Sanskar School, organized a workshop aimed at educating and empowering girls through a session dealing with personal hygiene.
The workshop covered topics such as understanding proper hygiene, dispelling myths and taboos associated with it and addressing their emotional wellbeing.
The session concluded with an open discussion where the children had the opportunity to ask questions and share their experiences.

Gandhi Jayanti

On the occasion of “Gandhi Jayanti”, Ministry of Jal Shakti and Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, observed ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ Campaign with active involvement of students, teachers and staff members to spread the message of cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene in the society. The campaign was celebrated at Sanskar School by undertaking “Shramdaan” activities through active participation of students and teachers as a “Jan Andolan”. The school undertook Cleanliness Drive – “Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta” for more than an hour on 1st October 2023 at 10:00 am resulting in visible cleanliness at a nearby garden chosen by the school. The students used gloves and garbage collection bags to gather the litter thrown around the garden and carefully disposed the bags thereafter at a close by garbage dump. This activity helped the students spread the message of cleanliness and sanitation in the adjoining area and amongst the students themselves.

KATRAN: A Sustainable Art Workshop’

‘KATRAN: A Sustainable Art Workshop’ “Creativity is seeing what others see and thinking what no one else ever thought” – Albert Einstein Being creative is about presenting a piece of art, a design, an idea or an innovation in a way that is filtered through your own unique perspective, talent and skills. It is also a great way of discovering one’s passions. Sanskar School in collaboration with We ❤️ Handloom hosted a workshop ‘WE THE CHANGE’ – an Inter School Art Workshop on 30 September, 2023. 100 students from renowned schools of Jaipur participated in the workshop and worked together to create sustainable art that not only showcased the students’ artistic ability and creative skills but also promoted and celebrated Mahatma Gandhi’s Philosophy of Self Reliance and sustainability. The event commenced with lighting of the lamp by our Principals Mrs Girdhar Kumari and Mrs Neelam Bhardwaj along with the team led by Mrs Meenakshi Singh, Ms. Vidushi and Ms. Mukulika. The students were then shown a presentation which inspired their creative insights for the session ahead. Thereafter, the students took to creating sustainable pieces of art with recyclable material like different fabrics, pieces of pottery, threads and any discarded item that sparked their creativity. They demonstrated their skill and passion with fervour, spinning magic through their deft fingers. The workshop provided a platform for innovation, exploration and aesthetics for the budding young art enthusiasts. The artwork created by the students will be displayed at Anataya - Kanota Courtyard on the 1st and 2nd of October, 2023. The Chief Guest at the event, Mrs Dharmendra Kanwar from INTAC presented Certificates of participation to the students at the close of the workshop. The Principals, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj (CBSE) and Mrs. Girdhar Kumari (International Curriculum) presented mementoes to the distinguished guests. The workshop was a great success and the participants thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to explore and create with freedom giving expression to their inner thoughts and artistic talents while imbibing the spirit and motto of our dear leader Mahatma Gandhi.

The learners of Grade 2 from Sanskar School, Jaipur, presented their class show under the TD Theme: Sharing The Planet, where they displayed their learning on ‘Aimons Notre Planète!’ means ‘Love Our Planet’ The show was honored by the chief guest, Mr. Sudhir Mathur, one of the greatest Social Entrepreneur and a Trustee of Raghu Sinha, Mala Mathur Charity Trust. Principal Ms. Girdhar Kumari encouraged enthusiastic and energetic learners with her motivational words. The show was started by offering prayers to ‘Maa Saraswati” and conducting the customary LAMP-LIGHTING ceremony. Learners presented their talent in various forms like dance-drama, folk dance, western dance, nukkad natak, and vocal music. With their presentation they tried to make us think, appreciate, and acknowledge the role and importance of natural resources in our lives and maintain it for future generations and what action we can take to keep our Mother Earth clean. Mr. Sudhir Mathur praised the hard work of the kids and the team of Sanskar School. Parents appreciated the live performance too.

Sanskar School organized a vibrant and informative University Fair on 31st August, 2023 within the school campus. The event was aimed at assisting students of grade 11th and 12th in exploring various college options and making informed decisions about their higher education. The fair showcased a diverse array of universities from around the world, providing students with the opportunity to interact directly with representatives from each institution. The fair had representatives from numerous renowned universities, each adorned with informative brochures, colorful banners, and engaging multimedia presentations. Representatives were eager to answer students' questions about academic programs, campus life, admission requirements, scholarships, and more. The fair also fostered a sense of excitement among students, motivating them to start thinking about their academic aspirations and long-term goals. Universities like James Cook University Australia,Southern Cross University, RMIT University, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Greenwich University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), UNSW College, Singapore Institute of Management, Deakin University, University of Melbourne, James Cook University, Singapore, Bond University, SP Jain, Manipal University Jaipur, Amity Jaipur and On campus from U.K., Ireland. These Universities made the fair enriching for the students.

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated at Sanskar School on 15th August,2023 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flags and flowers to commemorate the day. The programme commenced with hoisting of the flag, by the school Chairperson, Ms. Rhea Tharyamal and the Principals, Ms. Neelam Bhardwaj and Ms. Girdhar Kumari, while the National Anthem played and the students performed an invocation to God for his blessings. A melodious song was presented by the school choir and an enchanting band display by the students was performed. Thereafter, a thrilling mime performance by the students depicting climate change and it's effects on the environment left the audience with a profound message regarding saving our planet. The Cultural Head boy Mann Kumawat gave an inspiring speech that reminded the youth of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the development efforts and achievements made by our nation. Vaidehi, the Vice Head Girl and Karnika, from the Editorial Team recited self-composed poems that filled the students with patriotism on the occasion. The Principal, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj, gave a motivating speech, wherein she urged the students to appreciate freedom in the true sense of the word and do their best for themselves as well as others. This was followed by a thrilling Skating and Martial Arts performance. The event culminated with a vote of thanks by the Cultural Head Girl, Aishwarya and the National Song. In the end, sweets were distributed among those present on the occasion.

Sanskar School hosts SMUN 2023

Sanskar School hosted SMUN 2023 on 12th and 13th of August 2023 for students from various renowned schools of the city. Day 1 commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Chairperson, Ms. Rhea Tharyamal, and the Principals, Ms. Neelam Bhardwaj and Ms. Girdhar Kumari, alongwith the two Chief Guests for the MUN, Gaurav Sharma and Honorable Judge Poonaram Godara. The Secretary-General, Krish Narang and Director-General, Meha Agarwal, welcomed everyone to the MUN. After a performance by the school students, the Principal, Ms. Girdhar Kumari, addressed the gathering and motivated the delegates to actively participate in the debate. The gavel was handed over and the conference was subsequently declared open by the Secretary-General, Krish Narang. Various committees such as UNHRC, UNGA DISEC, AIPPM, UNSC, ECOSOC, UNCSW and IP came forward to debate issues of vital importance which presented a platform for learning and awareness for one and all. The first day of debate culminated with a gala social evening 'Inferno' wherein all the delegates got to interact with each other on an informal level. Day 2 once again saw three vociferous debate sessions with delegates expressing their viewpoints emphatically. The Closing Ceremony marked the end of the exuberant two day MUN sessions that fostered negotiation, speaking and communication skills among the participants. The Deputy Secretary General, Sneh Gaur, delivered a speech followed by presentation of a momento to the sponsor, Global Reach. Finally, awards were given in the form of trophies, certificates, gifts and cash prizes to the outstanding delegates. The award for the Best School Delegation went to Jayshree Periwal High School.

Sanskar School students were a part of the 'Baghodaya' Conservation Conclave

Sanskar School students were a part of the recently concluded 'Baghodaya' Conservation Conclave on 4th August 2023. Renowned environmentalists, tiger conservationists and experts deliberated on pertinent issues like reducing man-animal conflicts, role of buffer zones and forest corridors for movement of tigers. In a proud moment, Sanskar Chairperson, Mrs. Rhea Tharyamal, was felicitated for her contribution towards conservation of the environment. Sanskar students, altogether, recited a heart touching poem related to the issue, composed by the Chairman of WWTI and STF, Mr Sunil Mehta.

Sanskar School hosted an open mic event: Sanskar Talks

Sanskar School hosted an open mic event: Sanskar Talks. It is an inclusive platform that allows students to express their thoughts, feelings and opinions about any topic in general. This year’s theme was the impact of social media on body image, self esteem, relationships and communication patterns. The event was organized by IBDP Year 1 students and it was held on Saturday, August 5th, 2023. The event saw an impressive turnout of attendees. The students enunciated the positive and negative influence of social media on their physical and mental well-being. Additionally, they also shared their explicit views about how the future generations will be using social media for their communication and learning. It was an engaging event where all the participants had substantial opportunities to interact with each other on this trending topic! Overall, the event was a success as students were motivated to voice out their opinions and to regulate their social media consumption.

White Color Day

White colour Day celebration on August 1, 2023 was a delightful and educational event for the tiny tots of Early Years. White colour stands for peace, purity, innocence, light and goodness. Celebrating specific colour day can be a fun way to introduce young children to different colours and their significance. These activities help children to develop fine motor skills. Their Communication skills were also developed as they explained about white coloured things found in nature.

The Investiture Ceremony of Sanskar School, for the academic session 2023-24, was held on Wednesday, July 19th with a high degree of passion, earnestness, and fervour. Lead by the Head Girl (Bhavya Gaur) and the Head Boy (Krish Narang), the Vice-Head Girl (Vaidehi Singh),Vice-Head Boy (Harit Sen Gupta), Cultural Head Girl (Aishwarya Khanna), Cultural Head Boy (Maan Kumawat), Vice-Cultural Head Girl (Netra Sambharia), Vice-Cultural Head Boy (Agastya Banerjee), Sports Head Girl (Gunja Nehra), Vice-Sports Head Girl (Tanishqa Rathore), Vice-Sports Head Boy (Karmanya Sharma) along with the other council members marched on the stage to be conferred their badges and sash from the School Chairperson, Mrs. Rhea Thahryamal, Principals, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj and Mrs. Girdhar Kumari.

POCSO Workshop at Sanskar

At Sanskar, the safety of the students is held as an utmost priority and concrete steps are continually taken to ensure this goal. Sensitization of staff towards Child Safety is one such priority and measure implemented. An informative and interactive session on POCSO (Prevention of Children against Sexual Offences) was conducted for all teaching and administrative staff, as well as a second session for the Class IV Staff of the school, on 15th July 2023. All staff members were briefed about the POCSO Act and the safety of children from physical, mental and verbal abuse. The session was facilitated by Ms. Nisha Jain Grover from Vatsalya Legacy, a reputed organization that does extensive work in this field. The workshop dissipated relevant and important information, hence making it an enlightening session for one and all.

Blue Color Day 2023

Blue is the colour of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. Blue colour symbolises trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence and truth. To make children explore more about blue colour, Sanskar School celebrated ‘Blue Colour Day’ on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 with great enthusiasm. All the children came dressed up in different shades of blue. They made blue whale by tear and pasting method. They also made a fish bowl and jelly fish by using cut and paste method. They also played colour hunt game, which helped them to recognise blue colour in their surrounding. It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for the tiny tots.

Sanskar School hosted a session on Deeply Seeded

Sanskar School hosted a session on Deeply Seeded: ‘The Importance of making seed balls and planting them to grow trees’. This session was held on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 and Mr. Abhishek Singh, founder Angel eyes Foundation, facilitated the session. The session entailed awareness about different varieties of seeds and their purpose. Additionally, the students were also informed about the various techniques of plantation and the best suited environmental conditions for plantation. Furthermore, the students learnt about the procedure of making seed balls and their queries were addressed by Mr Singh. Post session, the students engaged themselves in making seed balls and planting them in the arid areas on the outskirts of the city. The students were able to make a difference by contributing to their environment.

International Yoga Day 2023

Sanskar School celebrated the ninth International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023 with enthusiastic and active participation of students and teachers. At the school, the teachers celebrated the day by invoking the blessings of the almighty which was followed by an inspiring address by the School Principal, Mrs. Girdhar Kumari, who encouraged everyone to make yoga an integral part of their lives and also spoke about the journey of yoga down the ages from ancient times due to its multiple benefits. Thereafter, the school staff members collectively performed Yoga Asanas under the guidance of trained yoga instructors, Ms. Neelam Kumawat and Ms. Rashmi Rani as well as Sports Instructor, Mr. Sanjeev Soni. The students and teachers took an online pledge to practise Yoga on a regular basis and also participated in various online International Day of Yoga competitions and activities organized by Ministry of Ayush on MyGov platform. Many of the students and teachers also participated in an online yoga quiz.

‘MOSAIC - Inter School Art Competition’ 2023

“Paintings have a life of their own that derives from the painter's soul.” ― Vincent van Gogh The aforementioned quote rightly says that art, not only highlights our creative aspect, but, it also expresses one’s inner feelings and desires. It is also a great way of discovering one’s passions. Sanskar School hosted ‘MOSAIC’ – an Inter School Art Competition on 29th April, 2023. 100 students from a number of renowned schools of Jaipur participated in the colourful event that showcased the students’ artistic ability and creative skills. The students took to the Poster Making, Origami Creation, Caricature Designing and Canvas Painting competitions with great gusto and fervour and spun magic through their deft fingers. The competing platform stoked the imagination and provided a pedestal for innovation, exploration and aesthetics for the budding young artists. The teachers displayed their artistic flair and innovative spirit through artworks created from random items that they chose as an impromptu activity. The jury panel saw some renowned names in the field of Art and Literature in Jaipur. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Asst Professor in Rajasthan University, Ms. Monica Devi Laishram, Artist and Graphic Designer, Ms. Trapti Nirwan, Freelance Artist, Ms Ritika Aagarwal, Caricature Artist and Ms. Priyanka Maheshwari from Colorbox were among the judges who provided inspiration and motivation to the young minds at work. The Director, Mrs. Rhea Tharyamal and the Principals, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj (CBSE) and Mrs. Girdhar Kumari (International Curriculum) presented mementoes to the distinguished guests and presented prizes to the winners of the competition. A unique finale to the competition was the students of Sanskar performing the National Anthem to sign language which filled everyone’s hearts and minds with pride.

But for our little ones, their favourite colour is one of the first way they express their sense of identity and individuality. Whether it’s the crayon they always choose first, the only colour dress they will wear, or the colour they want to paint their room, a favourite colour is part of our learner's unique personality. In order to encourage them to explore, share and create their favourite colours Sanskar School organised, My Favourite Colour Day on 18th April'2023. Children were dressed beautifully in their favourite coloured clothes. And of course no exploration of colours would be complete without art activities for early years. They made colourful fish, turtle, caterpillar, tulips and wrist band. They also made collage of pictures they brought from home. It was a successful approach towards self-identity by our little ones

Sanskar School students visited Arch Institute

Sanskar School students of grades 9 and10 along with Fine Art students of class12 visited Arch Institute on 7th April 2023. The children viewed various sections in the exhibition which included Jewellery making, 3d Printing, Block Printing, Photography techniques, Weaving, Laser cutting, etc. The visit provided the students an opportunity to interact with various teachers at the institute and also gain deep knowledge about the exhibition, in the process.

Sanskar School, Sirsi Road, celebrated its grand Fiesta 2023 with lots of fun and frolic at Sanskar Cricket Ground on 22nd January 2023. Students, parents and visitors could be seen having an enjoyable time at the games stalls that included mind games, tech-savvy virtual reality games as well as games of sheer luck and general merriment. The young lot also made the most of the tatoo design stall by getting themselves inked with some remarkably creative designs. To add to the gaiety, there was an amalgamation of food stalls that catered to all kinds of palettes and different cuisines. Also, a wide variety of stimulating rides were enjoyed by the young children, adding to the spirit of bonhomie and celebration. The feather in the cap was the mix of dance and music performances based on Bollywood and Hollywood themes by the Sanskar students that called for an encore from the crowd present at the venue. A live orchestra further added to the pulsating music in the air. The icing on the cake was however, the Raffle Draw that included exciting gifts like Apple Ipad, LED TV, Mobile Phone, Smart Watch, Oven Toaster Grill, Gear Bicycle, and many more gifts and shopping vouchers from Shoppers Stop, Pilates Studio, Sketchers and Adidas. The day allowed everyone to let their hair down, bask in some sheer merry-making and have a truly revitalising day.

Annual Sports Meet 2022 celebrated at Sanskar School

Sanskar School celebrated its 4th Annual Sports Meet 2022 at Sanskar Cricket Ground on 18th December with a lot of energy and high spirits. The event was attended by the Chief Guest for the event, Shri Sandeep Singh Chauhan, IG Recruitment and Promotion Board, Rajasthan Police, Guest of Honour, Dr. Ajeet Singh, Superintendent, University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, Special Guests, Shri Bhawani Singh, DSP, Jaipur Police, Shri Likhma Ram Choudhary, SHO Karni Vihar and Shri Shailendra Singh, a school parent. The event commenced with an Orchestra performance involving around 240 students playing various musical instruments followed by the Torch Lighting ceremony carried forward by the International and National level players of the school. This concluded with the Chairperson, Ms Rhea Tharyamal, declaring the Sports Meet open. The declaration was followed by a welcome address by the Principal, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj and the Chief Guest, Shri Sandeep Singh Chauhan wherein they encouraged the children to do their best and motivated them to strive harder for attaining excellence in their life. The Principal, Mrs. Girdhar Kumari, declared the names of the Sports Boy of the Year, Tanush Sanghi, and Sports Girl of the year, Saniya Khan amidst loud cheering from the audience. Thereafter the meet continued with a crisp March Past by the students led by the school council members of each house. This was followed by a Yoga presentation, Patriotic dance on Vande Matram, Martial Arts, Western dance by grade 5 students, Folk Fusion dance on Rajasthani and Punjabi folk music and 'Unity in Diversity' dance that concluded in a grand finale that was joined in by all the dance performers. The events were interspersed with the main Athletic events for students from classes 6-12 which included 100 m, 200 m and relay races. The participants were cheered enthusiastically with a final Vote of Thanks.

The inaugural ceremony of 13th Kanni Thahryamal All India Level Inter-School T-20 Cricket Tournament, an event that seeks to promote cricket among school students, was inaugurated on 18th October 2022 at Sanskar Cricket Ground. The tournament provides budding cricket stars an opportunity to polish their sports skills and strive for excellence. Shri. Manish Singh, a renowned Selector in Jaipur District Cricket Association and Match Referee in Rajasthan cricket association, graced the event by his benign presence as Special Guest on the occasion along with Shri. Amit Raj, Convener, Adhock committee, Jaipur Districr Cricket Association. The tournament was declared open by Ms. Rhea Thahryamal, Chairperson Sanskar School. The Principal, Ms. Neelam Bhardwaj, gave a warm welcome to all present there. She motivated the young players to foster the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork and cooperation. They were encouraged to make the most of their high potential, caliber and skills. Thereafter, the Principal, Ms. Girdhar Kumari administered the oath which laid stress on maintaining true quality, glory and honour of the game and for observing its rules. The inaugural match on this exciting day was played between My Own Public School and Rukmani Birla Modern High School. The toss was won by My Own school School which elected to bat first. The team made a total of 135 runs. My Own School won the match by 8 runs.

75 years of Independence celebrated at Sanskar School

India’s 76th Independence Day was celebrated with gaiety and fervour on 15th August 2022 at Sanskar School. The programme commenced with hoisting of the flag and invocation to God for his blessings. It included inspiring speeches by some of the Council Members that reminded the youth of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the development efforts and achievements made by our nation. A melodious song by the school choir and an enthralling classical dance performance reiterated the spirit of freedom and liberty of our country on this 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. The event culminated with a motivating speech by the Principal, Mrs. Girdhar Kumari wherein she urged the students to appreciate freedom in the true sense of the word and do their best for themselves as well as others. In the end, sweets were distributed among those present on the occasion.

The Investiture Ceremony of Sanskar School, for the academic session 2022-23, was held on Tuesday, July 26th in the School Auditorium with a high degree of passion, earnestness, and fervour. A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the soulful rendition of a prayer to the Almighty. The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion wherein all the young students are well prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility while carrying it out with utmost dedication. In keeping with the very grave occasion, the students marched to the stage, in sync with the beats of the drum that replicated the aura of the ceremony. Lead by the Head Girl (Amina Khan) and the Head Boy (Rishit Paliwal), the Vice-Head Girl (Jyotsana Choudhary),Vice-Head Boy (Krish Narang), Sports Head Girl (Sneha Choudhary), Cultural Head Girl (Khushi Malhotra), Cultural Head Boy (Ravi Sharma), Vice-Cultural Head Girl (Aishwarya Khanna), Vice-Cultural Head Boy (Maan Kumawat), Sports Head Boy (Manan Kayat), Vice-Sports Head Girl (Gunja Nehra), Vice-Sports Head Boy (Dhananjay Sharma) along with the other council members marched on the stage to be conferred their badges and sash from the School Chairperson, Mrs. Rhea Thahryamal, School Director, Ms. Disha Thahryamal, Principals, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj and Mrs. Girdhar Kumari. In each mind was instilled a sense of pride and respect for the school. The School Flag was handed over to the Head Boy and Head Girl, and the House Flags i.e. Rig, Sam, Yajur and Atharva were handed over to the concerned heads. The Principal, Mrs. Girdhar Kumari administered the oath to the newly elected Student Council. She also congratulated the heads and emphasized on the responsibilities that come along with the badges. The School Principal, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj exhorted the leaders to uphold the important values. She motivated every member of the school cabinet to be exemplary and a role model for other students while encouraging them to match their words with their actions. Heading towards the culmination of the ceremony, the Head Girl, Amina Khan and Head Boy, Rishit Paliwal, shared their thoughts respectively in their speeches upon taking up this valued responsibility. The Cultural Head Boy, Ravi Sharma proposed the Vote of Thanks with a promise to abide by the qualities of a true leader and keep the mantle of Sanskar Flying high. With the flags held high and heads standing tall, the event concluded with the school song.

Play- Dough was invented in the mid 1950s. It has entertained millions of children, allowing them to express their creativity, both at home and in the classroom. The benefits of play in learning cannot be overstated. It inspires the imaginative child, comforts the agitated child, and aides the visual child. It also improves hand-eye coordination skills, develops fine motor skills, encourages play-based learning, supports literacy and numeracy and improves social skills. To showcase their creativity, tiny tots of Early Years enjoyed the Play Dough Day held on 22nd July’22. For kids, it was fun to create something and play with it. They created flowers, butterflies, stars, teddy bear, yacht, snakes, fruits, turtles, ice-cream and various other things they see in their surrounding.

“Go green with paper bags, everything will be fantastic” Inter House Paper Bag Making Competition was organized by Sanskar School for the students of Grade I to V on 13th July 2022. This competition was devised with a view of bringing awareness and instilling the thought of restoring the environment. Students showcased their creativity and artistic skills by making beautiful paper bags and decorating them vibrantly. They used different recyclable material to decorate the bags. The students enjoyed the competition as the activity was done with a lot of enthusiasm and effort.

A Career counseling session was conducted at Sanskar School

A Career counseling session was conducted at Sanskar School on 19th July, 2022 by Mr. Pawan Solanki of Global Reach. He addressed the students of Grade 12 with regard to helping them to obtain scholarships both from the government and from universities abroad. He explored and discussed various new and upcoming career options that students might not be aware of. Mr. Solanki mentioned that he would conduct free sessions for them and also offered a free Psychometric assessment in order to help them chose what path might be best suited to the students needs. Students were futher invited to interact with University representatives from across the world at The Mariott Hotel on the 9th of August, 2022. The session was both interactive and informative. Students were eager with their queries which Mr Solanki addressed with equal enthusiasm. .

A Career Counselling Session from Ashoka University was conducted at Sanskar School on 18th July 2022 for the students of XI-XII Commerce, Humanities and IBDP Yr 1 and 2. Ms. Rangoli Dhingra, Academic Counsellor, Ashoka University was the primary mentor in the session. She helped the students understand liberal and integrated education and made them aware of the Undergraduate Program Degree offered by the university with the Foundation Courses along with Majors/Minors. She also emphasized on critical thinking by students and that they should start asking and answering questions all by themselves to broaden their vision for future. Also, some students presented their queries that were addressed by Ms. Rangoli with equal enthusiasm.

“Those who work hard and constantly seek to be visible to their superiors, those who showcase their hard work, are the ones who advance to positions of greater power and responsibility.” A Career Counselling/ Guidance Session was organised at Sanskar School on 8th July 2022 for the students of XI and XII Commerce and Humanities. The chief spokesperson of the session, Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Alumnus IIM Calcutta, was invited to make the students aware of and analyse various career options available to them. As these students are in their career guiding years, Mr. Gaurav, with an entrepreneurial mindset, explained them the sea of opportunities in the outer world and, also inspired them with a detailed discussion on career options they can choose from Commerce or Humanities. He also emphasised that career decision is one of the most significant decisions in one’s life; so, it should not be governed or taken under parents’ compulsion or peer pressure. The event created awareness and enriched knowledge among the young aspiring minds. An aptitude test was also conducted for the students to enable them to make their vision for the future clearer. The School Principal, Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj addressed the students with some inspiring and motivational words towards the end of the session. .

Blue is associated with peace and tranquility. The early year wing of Sanskar School celebrated Blue day on 8th July 2022. It was a pleasant and cool blue day for the tiny tots. Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. All the children came dressed up in different shades of Blue along with their favorite blue objects and pictures. The little ones of Bhoomika, Vatika and Praveshika enjoyed some beautiful Art & Craft activities like sea creatures, clouds and loved to color the sheets with different hues of blue.

Sanskar School Salutes the Medical Fraternity on Doctor’s Day

Doctor’s Day celebrates the doctors and healthcare workers who have been serving the people by risking their own lives. In order to salute the never-ending spirit of our healthcare providers, Sanskar School celebrated Doctor’s Day on 1st July 2022. The day was celebrated to create awareness among the students about the invaluable contribution of the healthcare providers towards serving mankind. Working round-the-clock shifts and putting their own health in danger, this day gives a perfect opportunity to salute their work. At Sanskar we were delighted to invite few of our doctor parents to enlighten the young minds towards various health topics. They had an enriching session in the class wherein the doctors shared their experiences, talked about mental and physical health, importance of discipline in eating and sleeping routine, dental care, obesity, diabetes and homeopathy. Students asked their queries, interacted with the doctors, and also answered the questions put up by them. It was a wonderful experience for the students. Doctors have proved to be the true warriors risking their own lives. It was indeed a wonderful day that was observed with the spirit of thankfulness and gratitude.

International Yoga Day celebrated at Sanskar School

To mark the 8th International Yoga Day, Sanskar School conducted a Yoga Session for its students and teachers on 21 June 2022 at the school campus. The parents and some students kept themselves connected with the event through Facebook from their homes. The Principals, Ms Neelam Bhardwaj and Ms Girdhar Kumari, in their address stressed on the importance of following yoga in daily life and motivated everyone present to imbibe and inculcate the habit of following yogic exercise throughout their lives. The students were introduced to many Yoga Asanas and were told the benefits of each of the introduced and practiced Asanas. A lot of enthusiasm could be seen as many consider yoga to be a connection of the body, mind and soul. Moreover, yoga has now become a part of everyone's routine for healthy living. Overall the day started with enthusiasm and ended with great fervour amongst the participants.

Mother’s Day is a special day of the year, dedicated to all mothers. It is celebrated all over the world. Mothers hold a special place in the hearts of children. Learners of Sanskar School were given an opportunity to show their appreciation for their mothers by organising origami activity on 6th May 2022. To show their love and respect for their mother, the young, enthusiastic Sanskarians of Grade I to III made a gratitude card wherein Grade IV &V made a crown and pasted origami flowers with words of gratitude on it. They were very eager, happy and bubbling with energy.
