World Wildlife Day celebrated at Sanskar School
World Wildlife Day is celebrated worldwide on 03rd March every year. This day is an opportunity to celebrate the many beautiful and varied forms of wild flora and fauna and to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits that their conservation provides to people.
Keeping this objective in mind, Sanskar School commemorated the day with great enthusiasm on March 03. A special assembly for the same was held in the school wherein the students were made aware of the endangered animals and plants and ways to fight against crime related to wildlife.
A number of activities were organized wherein the students carried out slogan writing and poster making on the current year’s theme, role-plays, research work on various endangered animals and also took a pledge to save wildlife.
While interacting with the students on the occasion, the School Principal, Mrs Girdhar Kumari, emphasized the importance of wildlife in human life which provides us food, medicines and environmental benefits.
