Childrens Day celebrated with aplomb at Sanskar School
Sanskar School students got a day to remember on 14th November 2018 as they received numerous surprises by their teachers while celebrating Childrens’ Day in school. Right from the moment the children entered the school, they were greeted warmly by their favourite cartoon characters at the school entrance that set off their day on a cheerful note. The students were further delighted by the beautifully decorated classrooms and school building that were tastefully done up with balloons on each floor.
Students from Pre-Primary to Class II were actively involved in One Minute games and exciting activities in their classrooms. They enjoyed different games like Musical Chair, Balloon Bursting, Blow the Bubbles, Cup Stack, etc. They also enjoyed free style dance with their teachers. The teachers gave cards with meaningful quotations to the children as a token of love. They were also told about the importance of Childrens’ Day and the reason why it is celebrated across India.
The students from classes III to V had their own share of fun and activities by participating in various Fun Races at Sanskar Cricket Ground, at the end of which they received prizes for the same.
To make the day truly special for the children, the teachers conducted a special assembly for the students. The students were presented a skit, dance, medley of songs and motivational talks specially prepared by the teachers for this day. The School Principals, Mrs. Girdhar Kumari (International Curriculum) and Mrs. Neelam Bhardwaj (CBSE), wished the children on the occasion and urged them to deliver their best in all their endeavours while offering a helping hand to the needy children.
