Celebration of ‘Matribhasha Diwas’ (Mother Language Day)

Mother Language Day was celebrated at Sanskar School with great enthusiasm and participation. The celebration began with a Special Assembly wherein all the students read the Preamble to the Constitution in their ‘Matribhasha’. This was followed by the school choir singing various Folk songs emphasizing the importance of all the languages spoken across the country in the morning assembly.

Students from Pre-Primary were motivated to recite a poem or narrate a story in their Mother Language. Posters were made by the students of Classes 1 to 5 in their Mother Language on magical words like ‘Welcome, Please, Thank-you, Sorry etc’ used in our day to day life. Students were encouraged further by showing a video highlighting the importance of Mother Language and its connection with oneself.

A skit was presented in Hindi by a group of students to highlight the importance of our national language within Sanskar community.

It was an enriching experience for one and all to understand and realize the importance of our Mother Language which truly stands as an epitome of ‘Unity in Diversity’.
