Annual Prize Distribution Function celebrated at Sanskar School




The Annual Prize Distribution function was celebrated at Sanskar School on 20th December 2016 in the memory of (Late) Shri Kanni Thahryamal who chartered a way ahead in the field of world class education through his vision. The students were awarded certificates for proficiency in the academic year 2016-17 and for their commendable performance in activities in the current academic session 2017-18. The Principals, Ms Neelam Bhardwaj (CBSE) and Ms Girdhar kumari (International Curriculum) gave away the prizes to the meritorious students and motivated them to continue working hard for success in the future.
In the Primary school, Rig House was declared the ‘Best House’ and Netra Sambharia (V) the ‘Best student of the Year’. Students were also rewarded for ‘Excellence in Zero period activity’ – an award given for excelling in various activities during the daily Zero period. Following students were rewarded for their talent:
1. Dramatics – Urvika Shekhawat (Class V)
2. Folk Dance – Himanshi Mathur (Class V)
3. Western Dance – Avni Maheshwari (Class V)
4. Basketball – Gaurav Dhindwal – (Class V)
5. Lawn Tennis – Karmanya Sharma (Class V)
6. Vocal Music – Samaira Joseph (Class I)
7. Instrumental Music – Abhay Singh (Class V)
8. Gymnastics – Utkarsh Rao (Class V)
9. Karate – Ishaan Singh (Class V)
10. Cricket – Ojasv Pratap Singh (Class V)
11. Art & Craft – Riya Choudhary (Class V)
In the Senior school, Rig House received the privilege of being the ‘Best House’ and Sanskar Sharma (XII) was announced the ‘Best Student of the Year’. Shambhavi Kumari (XII) put on the mantle of ‘Best Sports Girl’ alongside Aashish Indoriya (XII), the ‘Best Sports Boy’.
After these prizes, Aditya Yadav (IX) was felicitated for securing Second position in performing 293 Surya Namaskars in the Jaipur Yoga League 2017 along with Kaviraj Yadav (V) who carried out 268 Surya Namaskars to achieve Third prize at the same event.
Kshitij Jain (X) joined the list of achievers by standing Third in the Geeta Chanting Competition 2017.
For the CBSE West Zone Skating Championship 2017, Krisha Jadeja (IX) received a Gold and a Silver medal and also took away the All-round Best Skater Trophy for the West Zone.
Finally, the students who received the People’s Choice Award for Amazing Dance Performance on the Stage at the “Zee News D’Fest 2017” (State Level) for both Junior and Senior categories were called on stage and felicitated for the same.
